Stonehouse Flooring Showroom Transformation

Social Housing Window Replacement at Oakey Drive, Wokingham
Shire Window Solutions completed a large-scale window replacement project at Oakey Drive in Wokingham, working on behalf of MD Group.
The project involved upgrading windows throughout this social housing complex, with our team completing installations across all flats as well as the communal stairwell areas.
Smart Home Sounds – Window Installation
We were appointed to supply and install high-performance aluminium windows at Smart Home Sounds’ premises in Staverton, Cheltenham. The brief focused on delivering clean, contemporary glazing to complement the building’s modern industrial aesthetic, while enhancing thermal efficiency and maximising natural light.
The new windows offer excellent insulation and acoustic performance, ideal for a business operating within the smart technology and audio sector. The finished result provides a sharp, professional appearance both externally and internally, with a smooth installation process that ensured minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.
Listed Building – Timber Casement Window Installation
This Bristol project involved the sensitive replacement of windows within a listed property, requiring a careful, conservation-led approach. We manufactured and installed bespoke timber casement windows that faithfully replicated the original period detailing, while discreetly incorporating modern performance standards.
Each profile, glazing bar and finish was meticulously matched to preserve the building’s character and meet heritage requirements. The completed installation maintains the property’s architectural integrity while enhancing thermal efficiency and long-term durability, striking the ideal balance between tradition and modern comfort.
Agate Grey Aluminium Windows for a Cheltenham Home
Shire Window Solutions recently completed this residential window installation at a property in Cheltenham, replacing the existing windows with a selection of modern aluminium frames finished in Agate Grey.
The homeowners wanted a window system that would give the property a smart, contemporary appearance while still working naturally with the existing brickwork and interior décor. Agate Grey proved to be a great choice, offering a softer alternative to darker anthracite frames while retaining the clean, modern look associated with aluminium.
Project Completed in Nailsworth, Stroud – Ruskin Mill Trust
We recently had the pleasure of completing a full window and door installation project for Ruskin Mill Trust in Nailsworth, Stroud, a truly rewarding job working with an organisation that does such meaningful work in the community.
This property required a careful balance between improving performance and maintaining the character of the building. Our team installed a range of high-quality, energy-efficient uPVC windows and doors throughout, including a beautifully finished bay window that really enhances the rear elevation.

We removed the old, outdated units and installed brand-new energy-efficient aluminium windows into the top floor of one of their office blocks. Residential Installation, Stroud
Here is a residential project we have been working on recently and completed, replacing the windows and doors of this home in Stroud, Gloucestershire. The Shire Window Solutions team supplied and installed this anthracite grey on a number of white flush casement UPVC windows, 1 rosewood on a white composite door, and 1 anthracite grey on a white composite door. The homeowner was extremely pleased with the finishing look!

Shire Window Solutions Limited are supplying and installing Anthracite Grey on White Upvc Casement Windows, French Doors, and Composite doors to 11 timber framed houses and an apartment block containing 6 apartments. We are also installing two electronic access control doors to the front and back of the apartments.

This is also a timber framed construction.

We also installed an electronic access control front communal door to the apartments as well as a full height window/panel combination window to the rear.
